Sponsor the Gem Fellowship

In 2026, we debuted The Gem Fellowship, a program to sponsor vital development and maintenance work on Ruby open source projects that are widely used throughout the community. Each year, individual Ruby developers can submit their open source projects for funding. In 2026, we funded 8 fellowships.

We’re looking for other companies to support this year’s Gem Fellowship program, and aiming to fund 15 fellowships this year.
